[flac] Francis M. - Freeman

Released in 1995, Freeman solidified Francis Magalona's (aka Francis M.) claim to the OPM rap throne and proved without a shadow of a doubt that he is the king of OPM rap.  The album which contains 19 tracks includes such hits as "Three Stars And A Sun", "Kabataan Para Sa Kinabukasan" which became a softdrink commercial jingle and the nationwide number 1 hit "Kaleidoscope World".  Dubbed a return to form for the Man from Manila, Freeman would give Francis M. multiplatinum awards as well as countless awards from the Philippine Music Insdustry including the 1996 Awit Award for Best Produced Record of the Year, and the 1996 NU 107 Rock Award for Song of the Year.

[flac] The Youth - Album Na Walang Pamagat

With the release of The Youth's second album, Dodong Cruz, Robert Javier and Erap Carrasco solidified themselves as one of the best Filipino bands of the 90s.  Released in 1994, Album Na Walang Pamagat is considered as one of the best Filipino rock albums to come out of the 90s Pinoy Rock resurgence.  The album includes the hits Multo sa Paningin (Multong Bakla) and Takbo.  Other staples include Supernova Scum, Mukha Ng Pera and Magulo Buhay Ng Tao.  Radio stations around the country regularly played their songs with Multo sa Paningin hitting Number 1 on LA 105, 97.1 WLS FM and others.

[flac] Rivermaya - Rivermaya

The debut album by the band Rivermaya was released in 1994.  The band then consisting of Bamboo Mañalac on vocals, Nathan Azarcon on bass, Perf De Castro on guitars, Mark Escueta on drums and primary songwriter Rico Blanco on keyboards went on to receive nationwide popularity similar to that of the Eraserheads.  The album includes the hits Ulan, Bring Me Down, Awit ng Kabataan and the pop-ballad 214.  This album also marks the last time all 5 would record under the Rivermaya name as Perf De Castro decided to leave to form his own band Tri-Axis.
